Yaniv Brick, Ph.D., Associate Professor

School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Dr. Brick received his PhD from the Tel Aviv University School of Electrical Engineering in 2015. He received the Fulbright Scholarship and was a Peter O’Donnell, Jr. Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, The University of Texas at Austin. Since 2017, he is a with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Journal on Multiscale and Multi-physics Computational Techniques (JMMCT) and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, and is a senior member of IEEE and the International Union of Radio Science (URSI).

His research interests include numerical modeling of complex electromagnetic and acoustic wave problems and advanced algorithms for their solution.  The group specializes in fast direct and iterative integral equation solvers, relevant to advanced applications of on-chip and on-package interconnect analysis, underwater acoustic and electromagnetic target scattering, multi-physics modeling,  BioEM and BioAcoustic simulations, many-body problem and meta-material analysis, antenna diagnosis and design, and subsurface detection.
