Yaniv Brick, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer
D. E. Koshland Jr. Family Career Development Chair
in Advanced Technologies in Electrical and Computer Engineering
I've received my PhD from the Tel Aviv University School of Electrical Engineering in 2015. My postdoctoral research was at ICES (Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences), The University of Texas at Austin. I am a recipient of the Peter O’Donnell, Jr. Postdoctoral Fellowship and Fulbright Scholarship. In Oct. 2017, I joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, as a Senior Lecturer.
I am interested in the numerical modeling of complex electromagnetic and acoustic wave problems and in advanced algorithms for their solution. I specialize in fast direct and iterative integral equation solvers. Advanced applications include on-chip and on-package interconnects analysis, subsurface detection, underwater acoustic and electromagnetic target scattering, multi-physics modeling, BioEM and BioAcoustic simulations, antenna diagnosis and design.
